How does the Walking Pick-Up Program work?

We want to make after-school activities completely stress-free for busy parents. If your child attends Devonshire Community Public School or Connaught Public School, our team will meet them right at the school at dismissal (3:00 PM) and walk them safely to the LOL Lodge for our 3:30 PM start. If your child attends a different school, you can drop them off directly at the Lodge at 3:30 PM.

What happens at 5:30 PM dismissal?

Parents or authorized guardians can pick up their children directly from the LOL Lodge at 5:30 PM. If you have an older student (Grades 6–8) who has permission to walk or take transit home independently, you can indicate that on our digital registration form, and we will sign them out at dismissal.

What is the difference between "Cast" and "Crue"?

Every production requires a team on and off the stage.

  • The On-Stage Cast track is for kids who want to act, sing, move, and perform under the lights.
  • The Backstage Crue track is a completely non-performance option designed for creative kids who prefer hands-on building, painting, prop-making, costume design, and media.

Both tracks get equal instruction, and every single student holds a real, vital production role when the curtains go up on performance night.

Should my child bring a snack?

Yes, please! Moving around on stage and building sets takes a lot of energy. We highly recommend packing a nut-free snack and a refillable water bottle for them to have right when they arrive at the Lodge at 3:30 PM so they can fuel up!

Can my child sign up for more than one session?

Absolutely! We run three distinct sessions throughout the year (Fall, Winter, and Spring), each featuring a completely different Broadway JR. musical. Kids can choose to stick with the same track all year, or switch from Cast to Crue (or vice versa) to experience theatre from all angles. Sign up for the next session starts December 1st, & March 1st

What happens if a session is full?

Because we strictly cap our registration at 25 Cast and 25 Crue to maintain a high quality of instruction, spots do fill up quickly. If your preferred track is full, you can join our digital waitlist free of charge or join the opposite track (If not full). If a spot opens up or a family shifts tracks before the session launch, we will contact the waitlist sequentially.

Where will the final shows take place and how do tickets work?

Our final performances will be held in a local community auditorium (exact venue TBD). We want your family, friends, and neighbors to see all the hard work the Cast and Crue have put in! Tickets will go on sale digitally exactly one month before show week. Information on ticket pricing, show times, and how to purchase them will be sent out via our newsletter and posted directly in the Google Classroom so you can lock in your seats early.

Can high school students volunteer for community service hours?

Absolutely! We love working with high school students who want to complete their mandatory 40 hours of community involvement. Whether you want to gain experience stage managing, helping coach the younger actors, or assisting the Backstage Crue with set builds,we are happy to sign off on your school volunteer sheets at the end of the session!

What is your cancellation and refund policy?

Because our spots are strictly limited to 25 Cast and 25 Crue per session, a lot of planning and upfront licensing costs go into each student's placement.

  • Before the session starts: Cancellations made up to two weeks before the first rehearsal will receive a full refund (minus a $25 administration fee).
  • After the session starts: Once rehearsals begin, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds or cancel monthly payment plans, as that spot can no longer be filled by a student from the waitlist.
